One Finger
One finger to lift me is all
One from all should I fall
One finger could hold me down
Just one press me to ground
Just one from all for my prize
One to forbid me to rise
If I should ask you for help
Do the one task if I yelp
But one tiny complaint
Holds me in restraint
If all do the same little thing
Look what many hands bring
If asking for one I get five
I'd be the happiest parent alive
One from all should I fall
One finger could hold me down
Just one press me to ground
Just one from all for my prize
One to forbid me to rise
If I should ask you for help
Do the one task if I yelp
But one tiny complaint
Holds me in restraint
If all do the same little thing
Look what many hands bring
If asking for one I get five
I'd be the happiest parent alive
