Butterflies Inside A Skeleton Cage (a collaboration with Crimsin (unveiling) and Jadedembers)

Little did I know that
Cutting and sliding
The stitches from my lips
Would be so freeing.

Torn stitches hang
from my bloodied smile
I curdle the night
with the call of the banshee.

I didn't expect a key to be
Hidden away inside my mouth.
The key to my skeleton cage
My mind called
Home sweet home.

Locked away for so long,
my personality split
& from one
many faces came into being.

The blood you spilt
From my veins
Once crippled me as
It dripped from the spaces
In this cage, but it turned out
To be advantageous to me.

You sought to break me,
but I stand defiant
slicing my own wrists,
drinking the blood that pours
& spit it in your face
as I become stronger.

Transforming my mind...
Compartmentalized havoc
Inside my head.
Shocking,---you monsters gave me
superpowers after all, but
It appears to be both
Blessing and curse.

Personalities
dominate
shift & change
to kill the sunrise
that lights in your eyes.

You darkened all my days
now die little deaths
one for each day of my incarceration.

You wouldn't survive,
But by all means
Go ahead
Come at us!
