burned out by the church

 
religion and science
will have to be combined
for man to survive
   for thank it all!
   - we ate!

we ate! within that beauty garden college
we ate!
   of the fruit
   of the tree
   of knowledge

henceforth
   we need to forward -
      for we need more...

we need more
   than old books
   writ by men
sealed from the true power
   of women

and we need speakers
   of the truth
   of the weak
   of the male

for here we are -
   with hell on earth
   due men in charge

it's created a terrible earth-scar!
there's been a wrenching rift!
we live now with a dire mar!

   we need a flip-flop-shift!
   to see our future lift!

upon physics and chemistry
we as a species shall feed...

science and women will get-us
through these male-goddened-dark-earth times
   to a future
   safe for all of us -
grandies - yours and mine

we small humans need to slow
   to berth...
   to birth the recall
   of our ability to question
too - to recall our sixth sense
      burned out of us
      by the church
