Inner Demons

You see it. Going, going, gone.
Without a whim to carry on.
Feet dragging on a broken floor.
With even less hope then before.
When will this torturing subside,
From Lucifer personified..?
Voices within, voices without.
It's agony without a doubt.

Are you listening..? Can you hear them..?
Growing strong as people fear them.
Inner demons, angels fight..
Can not stop this growing plight.
Mother, Father, can you hear me..?
Begging for you to believe..
I can see them, can not you..?
If you don't help, they'll get me too...

They're creeping closer, can't you see..?!
Sister, couldn't you save me..?
I reach, I cry, I beg, I plead..
But she has faith and leaves me be..
The demons, memories, and shadows..
I don't think I can stop them now..
I close my eyes and say a prayer...
I open them.... and nothings there.....

The things to which others were blind...
Was it all inside my mind..?
