Doctors
Low and behold
Years since I’ve seen you
Don’t know why I expected
Anything more than sterile
Cut and cold
Your nurse was nice
Asked me about my story
I said just enough to paint the picture
But your lab coat tainted my mood
As soon as I saw you
Pills for thrills
Offered up in exchange for sleep
Had to ask if you even read the notes
Your lack of empathy
Could have killed me
Terse in verse
My irritation with you not withheld
Got to treat you like they always did me
Guess that felt like a win but I’m still
Feeling the worst
Left high and dry
Left you sitting there with your vacant stare
But I'm sure you'll enjoy
Collecting my insurance money
Dumbass doctor
