The Bleak Pacific 2
On the shoreline of the east coast
see the restless waters
raise those wavy walking fort walls
crash into one after another
stirring its vast blue entity
The surging waves, the buglers
standing on the crests
sound the rally
and blow a sennet to charge
in the rising sun
the restless waters turn ferocious
as if they are two navy armies
Their armed soldiers riding waves
their seeming steeds
roaming through
the battlefield of the ocean
wield shields and swords
fight with a deathmatch
either to die or to survive
In their rising hostility
the water as blood flows into ravines
When those armors
shine last glory on the ocean surface
they would love to die heroes
than to live and become villains
When the fight reaches its climax
shatter their bones into shards
the wounded soldiers collapse
and become ephemeral foam
swept away by the tides
sinking into the deep depth
Finally the battle ceases into peace
the white steeds with no soldiers
roam into the end of horizon
the ocean holds still
like nothing has happened
I stand on the shore
watch the heartstirring battle
throw my tears into the ocean bottom
sing a dirge of lost souls
the obituary was sadly written
