scars behind the mask
They both had deep scars on their faces, both wore masks to hide any traces, yet they kept looking for someone who had similar scars, someone who knew the pain, who knew the rain, to hear the history to share a story, looking in every street every alley, yet returning back always to bed empty, both passed each others many times searching yet the tragedy was always the finding, for they couldn't see beyond the mask of each other.
