Beautiful offering, Muses. I really enjoyed reading this, especially aloud.

I actually got to experience Día de Muertos when I lived in the Southwest.

First year celebrating it, very powerful experience. I'm on East Coast so unfortunately there are not as many cultural opportunities here for it. Wanted to share in my husband's Mexican heritage :-)

How exciting for you! I wish everyone could experience it at least one. So many cultural beauties right under our nose that go undiscovered. 💀

Hello dear Muse, it’s been quite a spell.  Today I was trolling your poems and read this one as I was attracted by the title.  I’m glad because this write touched me sweetly for its subject.  How lovely your words, and how it reminded me of when I wrote about Dia de los Muertos, and that’s what it’s title is.  Your feelings of this were most evident to me that if you would like, if you go over to read it some time, perhaps it will rekindle warm memories of this special time for you?
