Southern Pride Is A Fabricated Lie

Pre Holocaust the Swastika use to be a symbolic sign of peace
After the Holocaust that symbolic meaning became deceased
So no matter how much you proclaim that flag is symbolic of Southern pride
It'll forever be viewed as a symbol of hatred through African American eyes
If it truly isn't representative of ignorant hate
Why do Neo Nazis always have it on display
This poem is intended for those who can be sensible
I don't waste valuable time trying to debate with fools
From a distance onlookers can never tell clearly who is who
So continue on living in ignorance if that's what you choose
Folks would want to crucify or chastise me if I used the word fag
But those same individuals would be cool with the Confederate flag
Although both are perceived as signs of hate
Hypocrites will quickly insist that the flag is ok
The plight of homosexuals isn't the same as that of African Americans
They can consent to hide their sexuality but we can never hide our skin
Don't get it twisted cause I give less than a shit what you do behind closed doors
It's your business what you do on all fours but I can't ignore the hypocrisy anymore
I'm now convinced that as long as it's my people that's being terrorized
Many in this society will willfully take a deaf ear and turn a blind eye
