All Alone
You left me all alone on the passenger’s side of the car
As we go down the deserted road. Not even the radio
Can ease or crack the tension between us. Every star
Is way too blurry to count. Darling, I could throw
Myself out of this moving car and you would never
Notice as you are too focused on the road ahead
Of you. With one single push and pull of the lever
You would be surprised of all the hidden or dead
Things that would rise to the surface. Every feeling
I kept repressed and emotions that I was too afraid
To speak up on would drown you. Every ceiling
And wall is cracked. Every foundation is decayed.
