constellations weep
that i would find you here
already entranced by another
the muse of my lost memories
with a delicate voice
you stirred my heart
i rose to greet you
& found myself unsure
your light burned my arrogance
left it ashes at my feet
naked & trembling i faced you
you covered me
with jeweled words
you picked from the universe
& i was found in your eyes,
worthy to sit with you awhile
while you spun magic
from spiders silk & stardust
& you gently sang verses
to my shaken soul
i was finally home
ensconsed in your poetry
as sweet incense poured from your lips
kissing my pain
& the darkness receeded

This feels like a spiritual as much as a straightforward love poem, like it's directed at a god/goddess. Either way, it's elegant and charming.
