I am a supporter
Of individuals
Having the right
To die with dignity
At a time of their choosing.
Our government holds the
Opposite view. They think
That is ok that a dying person
Can be put on so much medication
That they don’t know who they are.
Our government prefers the idea
Of a person living with pain,
drooling and soiling themselves
because of the ravages of their illness.
Our government is quite happy
For ill and dying people to be left
Without any dignity at all.
Our government in my view
Is sicker than anyone in that
Kind of predicament.
We should all have the right to choose,
No exceptions.


This leads me on to Dignitas.
I am fully supportive of their ideals
Death with dignity for all.
But where we part company
Has to pay for the pleasure.
It would cost me approximately
£12,000 to use their service.
What if you don’t have £12,000?
To put it bluntly you’re fucked.
Brings me back to an overlapping
Problem where if you want to have
A death with dignity ‘cash is king’
No money no honey
The poor get fucked even in death
The poor are not allowed dignity
In life or even on death.
It’s a sick old world,
Our society is so broken.
Here’s a solution for what it’s worth.
Apply for as many loans and credit cards as possible,
Do it all in the same day hopefully you will be able
To raise enough. No need to worry,
You won’t be paying it back.
I have yet to hear of a case
Where a dead person has had to be exhumed
In order to face fraud charges.
