Jigsaw Heart
Have you ever started a puzzle, but not been able to finish it
Well, that's how my life has been, ever since I met you
You're that missing corner piece to my heart
I've searched for what seems like an eternity
I’ve tried countless amounts of different puzzle pieces
I've even tried moving on to a different puzzle
Every possible scenario I could think of to complete this puzzle I call a heart without your love
Trying to fill the gap in my heart by letting others stick their corner pieces in my puzzle
But none of them fit
Because none of them were you
I tried destroying the puzzle as a whole
Just ending the pain of not knowing what to do with this mess of a puzzle before me
But each time I would look back and remember that corner piece
And remember how beautiful it made my puzzle and I could never destroy something so precious
Who would have thought that a simple corner piece could hold so much value in just one small piece
How can something so small be so life changing
So inspiring
Just so beyond any word mankind has ever known
I hope that one day you find your puzzle piece even if my love isn't it
Because I want to see your puzzle complete
I want to see the beauty in you becoming whole
I just want you to feel everything that I wish I could
Even if the piece of love that you're meant to find isn't from my puzzle box
I still want your jigsaw heart to build on

a plethera of stuff here -- tiers and tiers!
I find it interesting that You chose the "corner" piece as the central gist because when doing puzzles
I always find the corners and outline or straight-edged pieces FIRST.
I have more to add but
will have to think more on this (when I haven't been sucking down too much gin)
