It's a lesson that took me many years to master - I am ready to go tomorrow if that's what happens - but now that I have put death in a box, I've decided I want to live :-) send huge hugs :-)

Then why is it every time I grasp for life I end up gasping for my life?
I need a little oxygen here... lol

that's a damn shame my friend - my intention is to enjoy what I have left as much as possible :-) hope you can do the same - without the oxygen :-)

Re. Living Fear
Undoubtedly, This is one of the more fascinating aspects of our human psyche! Though we may no longer actually fear dying, for most of us,we are generally "wired" to prefer life, as opposed to death.** We still struggle to grasp, and cling to our own lifelines!
David...you have presented us with a piece that provides a valid point to consider! There is insight within your ink!
** ( excluding those individuals with suicidal tendencies.Yet... even some of these people are caught up in the quandary of life vs. death--often reaching out for help to find their own fragile life-lines )

sometimes for some people death seems a better option than living - I have had that thought fizzing around in my head for over a year - I decided instead to face down death - I now don't fear it at all and through that process i decided I wanted to live :-) thank you for getting it - Big Massive hugs :-)

For some reason this one has the power behind it of a baseball hit clear out of the park. Short but incredibly potent, this one. Lots and lots of hugs
