The Most Evil Man in History Ever
Hitler killed 6 - 9 million
The most evil man in history
The history channel is full of him
The holocaust the worse event ever
Memorials to the victims everywhere
So many movies and books created
Survivors treated like heroes
Who would put up any argument?
Who would be allowed to argue?
Am I allowed to question this?
Who was the most evil man in history?
Yet there are no memorials, no movies
No victim empathy or sympathy
Few documentaries or books
Here’s a suggestion for you
Stalin killed 20 -25 million
They were heroes
Deserving of memorials
Yet they were ignored
He was ignored: why?
Is it because they were Russian
Do dead Russians not count?
Maybe Stalin was more evil than Hitler
Maybe we were evil for doing nothing
Maybe it wasn’t Stalin
Maybe there is worse than him
Maybe there is somebody more evil
Than Stalin and Hitler put together
Chairman Mao killed 50 – 60 million
Do I need to repeat that?
50 – 60 Million dead souls
No memorials, no movies
Few documentaries or books
No victim sympathy or empathy
We never lifted a finger
No invasion, no rescue
We left them to their fate
Was it because they were Chinese?
Do dead Chinese not count?
Maybe it was their communism
Maybe there was no profit or spoils
If this was an Olympic event
Bronze would go to Hitler
Silver would go to Stalin
Gold would go to Chairman Mao
All three deserved a speedier death
All three were undoubtedly evil men
Their victims should have been rescued
All their victims should be memorialised
Their heroism commended
Our sadness should be for all victims
But we need honest history
Compassion and empathy
For all victims of war
Regardless of where they are from
And what colour they are
Evil men do evil things
It should not be a competition
The most evil man in history

David, I shed a few tears on this one. It touched my heart. My Grandparents were survivors. They had the ink to prove it. My grandma always wore a band aid over hers. Im not sure why. When we were lil we thought our grandparents were super bad ass mothers fuckers because they had tattoos. It was when I was older did I find out how seriously bad ass they really were. They lived. And because of that, I am here. And so are my children. So, Hitler in my eyes is the most evil man. However not evil enough to kill my kin. <3 Excellent write that will provoke some serious thoughts, I am sure. <3

He was truly a master of evil and the survivors stories must be told, need to be told in the hope that we can learn. it is completely understandable and rational for your candidate to be Hitler - I do get it :-) Huge big hugs to you and yours :-)

To be sure---A L L victims of such heinous acts of war, deserve respect and compassion....deserve to be honored and memorialized...irregardless of nationality, ethnicity, or lineage!

Sometimes there are no explanations for these things. But I believe it was because it involved our ( US ) allies, particularly England.
Being communist tends to close one off from many allies. But, you're right. All victims of war deserve respect, and to be remembered.
Each year in Holocaust remembrance day, I post a painting and letter by David Berger, written before being shot dead at age 19, in Vilnius, Lithuania in1941 by the Germans.
" If something happens, I would want there to be somebody who would remember that someone named D. Berger had once lived. This will make things easier for me in the difficult moments. "
Our history is filled with atrocities, and it's a slap in the face to those who l91st their lives when we don't seem to learn from it.

David, this is quite the powerful write and you point out many of humanity's shortcomings...out of sight, out of mind and that in itself brings cause to question why such atrocities are not brought to the forefront for us to learn from, regardless of where they occurred...media I believe has much to do with it...the one's who determine what is "newsworthy"...unless one like yourself takes the time to do the research, which clearly you did, who the hell would know? I know I wouldn't have...thank you for this insightful and thought provoking ink...

The atrocities committed by human beings over the centuries is staggering. And you're absolutely correct...it shouldn't be a competition to be evil. But sometimes I swear they feed off each other and it just gets worse. Who will break the cycle? Powerful write, David. Sending many country mouse hugs! :)
