leave it ! stop
clinging to a country
the now here
now far
away
tomorrow and yesterday
together we sail the blue
its your ship
so shade your eyes
from the dazzling and
sun burn it all
away
you don’t have to be so brave
you don’t have to be a legend
or a hero !
what harmony do you betray
when you roll around in agony
proclaiming your way of sorrow
so superior to the golden clouds

It reminds me of the dialogue from Meet Joe Black . . . about staying on holiday just long enough to be browned but not burned; however, if you stay long enough vs moving on, you're bound to become burned.
