out there, beyond

golden sails upon
creaking bold oak masts
fore and aft
adorn the wooden salt soaked ship

as she rolled black seas
her cargo tight below
dry within the darkness
silent amongst men

battering through paths
plotted far behind
scored upon flax maps
followed wearing a cloak so dark

making night light up
like fire in the skies
lightening striking all around
as nature tightened her ties

with what is will be
so onwards the ship will sail
silent unseen
fulfilling her destiny to be free
