My old friend
In all your beauty
Oh how I think of you often
Your words come and
Dance around in my head
And in the blink of an eye
They go
Somehow still able
To form a rhythm
Or two
Things have changed
But your still in there
Implanted in my brain
You were there
Before I was born
And you will still be there
When I am long gone
For when the words are formed
And placed together
They will never die
My old friend
In all your beauty
Oh how I think of you often
Your words come and
Dance around in my head
And in the blink of an eye
They go
Somehow still able
To form a rhythm
Or two
Things have changed
But your still in there
Implanted in my brain
You were there
Before I was born
And you will still be there
When I am long gone
For when the words are formed
And placed together
They will never die
