Embers
The stairs and my embers meet every night around eleven.
I stare off with the night time, thankful for the lonely sky
ashin' embers to my right, smoke inhaling touch my mind
imaginative and a wonder'er of this world, looking for my soul,
in that little girl, lost in myself, my thoughts hold my breath,
i'm neck deep in my shit, i made my bed and laid in it,
Disappointment hanging from the ceiling, closing me in as i'm sleeping
Reality fades out with the evening , when dawn is approaching i see a new beginning,
I'm still holding on to some hurt feelings, early in the morning and i'm still sitting,
watching the sunrise, peak out with a lil light, touching the world right.
It''s such an amazing sight, so much bright in my eyes i tend to forget the night.
Embers still by my side.
