I Wanna Be

I wanna be to humanity as the carcass is to the vulture , I wanna be as music is to our culture, I wanna be as the evening shade is to the Owl and I wanna cleanup the bowels of the beast, I wanna be able to teach that which was not taught to me, I wanna reach the point my comrades fought to be you see, nothing comes easy except the path of least resistance, but it's  persistence that pays off, so I'm off and running 100 miles I don't need no days off, I wanna be to humanity as harmony is to the symphony, I wanna be as the American Dream was meant to be, freedom, justice and equality for anybody that mentions me, say my name say my name, it's more than a destiny thing or childs play, I wanna be as clay is to the potter, hell I wanna be a part of the potters wheel, so that way our dearly departed won't get carted off to Potters Field, I wanna be to humanity as real is to reality, I wanna be as Christ crucified is to Calvary,  I wanna mean something to somebody, I'm sick of all this song and dance with people dancing to silly songs like theyre some sort of songbirds, my word is bond, I wanna be to humanity as King is to Kong, or as Don is to King, I wanna put on ring I wanna be the champion...of champions!!
