CONFUSED...
My knees start to shake when your in sight.
My mind is filled with wonder and my heart with fright.
When will this feeling stop?
When did it start?
How can i listen to my mind, without breaking my heartr?
I'm so confused.
What should I do?
I cant think of anything,
Except you.
Should I ignore you?
Or just give it time?
I cant think straight,
My heart controls my mind.

The thrill of the unknown and the fear… I think most have been plagued by the indecision and you truly have expressed the experiences I’ve encountered and often still do, very relatable

Yup, I know this poem too, probably not in the same way as you but definitely confused over relationships.
The heart wants what the heart wants and common sense be dammed.
We can make the most God awful mistakes where the heart is concerned.
I sure made mine, but maybe my mind was clouded at the time too, alcohol induced haze that washed away any grey matter I owned at the time.
You write from your heart, "I see the truth in your words" ( line from some forgotten song)
