A Passing Thought

A thought flits on by,
a whisper or echo
of a dream once
held to be a reality :
But that reality has faded,
and so too
has this thought.

WHERE did it come from?
& Where did it go to?

Do the neural networks,
of our individual brains,
merely create these thoughts?
or maybe it is learned behavior
In our upbringings.
or perhaps thought patterns
are genetically inherited.
Nature VS. Nurture —
Nurture VS. Nature,

Yet, there is another possibility.
Perhaps thoughts come from
another dimension or realm,
close to our own,
transmitted into our beings
through natural energy waves.

Or, maybe the Earth & Universe
Are expressing different thought forms
through us.

Our thoughts may be
different levels of expression
for the Great Spirit —
OR Jah, JHVH, ALLAH, OR GOD
It doesn’t matter what you call
that all knowing force,
as long as you know
that it’s there

And denying that force exists
is a perfectly
valid form of expression
in concepts
of knowledge & thoughts.

Yet I choose to accept
this force is there.
I have too much personal
evidence & experience
to deny this deity,
this “God”

This is the oneness
from which
the well of unity
springs forth.

Even in argument,
opposition & separation,
this Oneness exists —
It always will
Because it is ALL.

“The more things change,
the more they stay the same”

Some say “Some things Never change”

Yet I would amend that
I would say that ALL things change,
But ONE thing ->
& that ONE thing
is divine unity,
sprung  from the mind of God.

All else is subject to change, however, —
so are our thoughts
our thoughts vary
as to our memory
and personal attachment

so, thoughts are fluid,
and very often uncontainable
Do not try to grasp water in your fist,
for you won’t get very far.

As thoughts change in time,
you may come up with
the same thoughts as many others,
with slightly different thought patterns.
I believe thoughts & thought patterns
are recycled throughout time, as well,
to fit different circumstances
and cultural “advances”

No matter where thoughts come from,
Free will always exists
Within the scope of Fate & Destiny
For we have choices —
And we are responsible
For these choices we make.
& Not acting is a choice
in and of itself.
