Orange, Red & Brown

A Man's Caliber
cannot be measured
by his shirt size;
large flannel sleeves
Orande, Red, and Brown
rolled loosely, dangling
about her olive forearms

The long tail becoming
a gown to make morning
tea & coffee, a buttery
pancake brunch in bed;
her ballet socks
gliding across tile
to clean house on a
Saturday afternoon

It's a second skin
of scent every woman
becomes familiar with
while lounging through
the yearning absence
or playful attendance
of the man she Loves

Calibur is measured
by his Spiritual intent
His steadfast leadership;
her best interest at Heart

It's an unfailing sense
of justice penetrating
an exact depth of presence;
a vulnerable exposure
renting the veil of fear
and doubt within her before
Evolutionary Union occurs:

A transmogrification
from Absolute Belief;
a Holy Commununion
between Love and Truth

Born only of Dreams
and their Patient Faith.
