Lily White Peace

                      The Welcoming Perch of Peace.      
              
The Lord said, that if you believe in peace        
you will be at peace        
       
if you believe in peace, and you present your palm  to the sky        
a white dove would land, on your palm    
and accept you, eye to eye        
       
THE DOVE IS FROM UP ABOVE        
THE ROOTS OF LOVE AND FERVOR        
       
and cuz' I worked and respected the land        
the white dove accepted this workin' man        
       
for he would not sing a song for a devil        
and would not fly near, even within 13 feet, of a weasel        
       
THE DOVE IS FROM UP ABOVE        
THE ROOTS OF FERVOR AND LOVE        
       
so when I stretched out my palm        
and sang my song        
       
the dove flew to my open hand      
and landed on my long fingernail        
perfectly        
       
and we sang a song at the same time        
singing with the dove is holy        
like sipping red wine        
       
only a man of peace        
can be trusted by        
the lily white dove        
       
and she landed on my        
outstretched hand        
       
like a butterfly        
in love        
       
thus, the white dove means        
there is a lord up above        
       
like a rising wisp of white smoke        
from a white metal wood stove        
       
the dove is warm,    
like a saint's hug.        
       
YOU KNOW THERE IS A LORD UP ABOVE        
WHEN YOU GET A HUG FROM A LILY WHITE DOVE.. yep.
