From the day you are born you gain weight;
Some more than others of course.
Mine seems to have never stopped!
From one diet to the next,
Calorie counting, shakes and bars...
Desperate to escape my excess -
Sadly lacking some success.
Is it time to give diets the chop?
Well, YES -
They don't bloody work!!

Such an honest write. Well done on a topic that many struggle with. All we see are media pictures of "what is beautiful" that are rarely "untouched". We often lose site of what is truly lovely and attractive. I believe it is the soul and the spirit that makes someone beautiful...and you are. Thank you for sharing.
