Life's Sonnet #3
Everywhere I direct my gaze I see,
A wonderful painting of soft blue skies,
Puffy white clouds that look like her and me,
You're so lovely I wish I was your guy.
I wander on down to a babbling brook,
Should bait a hook, catch some fish, but I sigh,
Instead I decide to put up my hooks,
You said once fish can feel pain, they will cry.
I walk down the hustling and bustling street,
Looking in windows and seeing her face,
I look for you wherever, you're my treat,
So dear to me you are sweetness and lace.
Your image is fresh I see every day,
You keep the skies above from turning gray.
