Coming Back
A few years later
And we finally come back
Haven't been here in a while
Away from the world truly
Now I'm alone like I wanted to be
The last time I came here
I was a bit younger
It was a decent summer
. .
Thought about the times we had here before
And brining back those feelings
But things just aren't the same anymore
Things... are different
After a long time
I clear my mind
Forgetting those unspoken realities
Finally I'm happy
Watching the birds fly alongside
And the artwork in the sky
Wondering how it was all designed
Hoping these are signs
To comfort people like me
In these last days
And autumn leaves
from dying trees
Trapped teardrops inside me
Resemble raindrops on the window
Wondering why does it have to be me
When will everything unfold
But another thought interrupted
When I looked at the stars
Thought about you
And If I ever cross your heart
When you're on these lonely roads too
Looking above the forest silhouette
Created by the violet sky
From your lit up world
That is now far behind
Each step I take
The further I get from you
Becoming jealous of everyone going the opposite way
Trying my best to enjoy these final views
Each step I take
The darker it gets
Becoming jealous of the sunset
Because it gets to stay with you
