You declared that I was purple,
The complexion of ecstasy.
An aphrodisiac--
The allure of slurping mollusks,
And the titillating anxiety
Of a calloused hand
Enclosing around my trachea.
Contrarily, I was metallic--
The taste of biting your tongue,
A sweltering, stifling box
Of alloy, threatening
To smother you alive
Upon failure of evasion.
Or silvery, soft, and palatable,
Able to rectify distemper
In the hearts of the melancholic.
The complexion of ecstasy.
An aphrodisiac--
The allure of slurping mollusks,
And the titillating anxiety
Of a calloused hand
Enclosing around my trachea.
Contrarily, I was metallic--
The taste of biting your tongue,
A sweltering, stifling box
Of alloy, threatening
To smother you alive
Upon failure of evasion.
Or silvery, soft, and palatable,
Able to rectify distemper
In the hearts of the melancholic.
