This haiku is written as a public Thank You to my cast and crew for my Off-Off Broadway play "In Love With the Wrong One."
I just read an article on "The Great Comet of 1812" which also started Off-Off Broadway in a 87 seat house. Now it plays in a 1100+ theater 🎭 and is up for a number of Tony Awards tonight ...
I'll watch the Tony Awards tonight ... see the show this Saturday.
... and then of course writing and rewriting.
Gotta stay on that grind.

The struggles of being an artist and perfecting one's craft can be a war of sorts. Seeing the actors breathe life into the shrapnel that was my ink was exhilarating.
