hush
you know I never
wrote so well
as I did when you inspired
you took me to the dirty places
only a whore can enjoy
& you knew that about me
so you stole me away
from proper society
tea with the ladies
fed me vodka
& cock on the rocks
it was always stormy with us
so intense was our need
desperate in our passion
we fucked like demons
primal growls & hunger
we burned hell to the ground
with our lust
you brought passion
into my boring pastel life
inked out your graffiti
on my inner walls
so that all would know
you were here
many poets came before
& some after
though none left their mark
the way you did

Oh Dahling
What a wonderful tribute poem
lucky girl, who caught your eye
And some of those lines are so hot
the cushion on my chair started smoking
(wait fetching a fire extinguisher)
You really are a wild little possum, aren't you!

Re: Re. hush
Oh hell yes!
We need to lock em up in little silver heart amulets and hang them over our hearts (where secrets are kept best) ;)
One of my husband's I think the second, could have been the first, was a guard, but he wasn't much good at guarding.
I guarded him more than he guarded me... well one day... he was standing guard outside the hotel room door, and well I needed a distraction to get Grant out at 2 AM. So I called him and said, the fridge is running... quick stop it, well he chased after it and Grant slipped out... was amazing!
kisses possum

A very dramatic write Bren. Poetic passion is safer than the physical kind... no Aides...
But what do I know, cock on the rocks has gotta be better than locked in a cage and teased with kisses on someone elses neck...

I read this passionate tribute and the wonderful descriptions of passion and whilst I really enjoyed the read it left me feeling like I had missed out on quite a lot. This is not a negative, it proves how good your poetry is to cause an emotional reaction in the reader :-)
wonderful write :-)

You may have had stormy weather together, but what a thrill! Sounds like you had real chemistry even if there was some volatility.. Wonderful work Lady Crim, although it's tough for me to envision you in a "boring pastel life."

My Beautiful Brenda, it does seem there is always that "one" who knows more than any other...can see through any veil we place in front of us...and the marks left, are always ones we trace with fingertips while smiling...so beautiful in its truth...
I love you!
