DREAMSCAPE : REDSHIFTED
Somewhere
Like the space between
A sheet folded in half
And a slight
Burning sensation
And a dread cacophony
Oscillating in and out
Of existence
Yet in its absence, it is still there
Clearer than my own self-awareness
Dredged the sludge
Drained from the cut
The hole is spreading
I dig inside myself
Touch my mind
And it avulses
No colour, no light
Thoughts take precedence
My eyes
Are they opening?
Nothing
Suffocating void
All is amorphous
Yet aggregate
Grey
Yet opaline
Senses diluted
As temerity ebbs
Matter diffusion
My hands are cobwebs
I spill out
As ichor in water
But in loss, I am more
