Winter’s snow, shivering chill
A season’s icy, frozen spill
Unforgiving and bitter cold
Soul unheated, arms enfold
Inhumane, insistent frost
Amid a blizzard, calm is lost
Arctic, frigid, freezing mix
With iced emotions, I cannot fix

Wow, terrific Mel ...I loved the pace of this and even though it is a short piece it is not overly truncated to carry a decent flow and rythmn...Some of the most important aspects of quality poetry.
