Drifting
during my six
trauma laden days sans computer
felt myself drifting
off into a strange place
inside my thoughts
a strangeness to be sure
most off the time
had to to do with not being able
to contact and chat with
certain people
it seemed almost like
being in solitary confinement
in prison
a very scary place to be
this will be the last
I will speak of those six days
I never
expected to be where I was mentally
one more thing
I’m happy to be back

They will never make it so they can predict what goes on inside human brain cells, Josh. They can try, and maybe hit nine out of ten, but there will always be that "one" who is unpredictable. Thank you Josh, for reading my little poem and commenting on it. It is greatly appreciated..

True - and now 'the system' is gunning for control of our inner world, not just through ideologies but more directly - a pill for every 'ill' (for 'ill', read free-thinkers).
cold turkey is horrid - smiles - but a chance to find other inspiration perhaps
