Nini's Moon

Nini's moon
is as far away
from Alcyon's heart
as the world is from
the sun.....
….yet as the sun dips below the horizon,
her soul is lifted up
and released
into the beautiful darkness
where she finds
refuge from
her weariness
"be careful how you touch her for she'll awaken...."
Her beauty shines inside
it's reflection
Her spirit enrapt
within the solace
of lunar flight,
floating as a feather
lilting upon
moon winds and gentle dust
that sparkle like silver
against a deep blue light
high above the
strain and strife
of this mortal existence
this thing called life
she is free.....
