Storms brewing
ache for protection
reaching for something
Compulsion arises
thirsty obsession
never quenched
Uneasiness builds
spiralling downward
reeling renewed
Lost soul again
comfort stripped
no longer intact
Excruciating, unbearable
no balance, unstable
unable to hold
Imminent darkness
escorted to hell
over and over, yet again

Thank you dear, I was not sure of the title...looking to imply the darkness is never "satiated" by me. It may be too much...open to suggestions as this is not my usual style:)

I interpreted this as depression and/or addiction. Both being worthy adversaries as well as unquenchable beasts. Good thing you're wiser and stronger.

I'm speechless on this. You write with intent, emotion and meaning. This is what makes your writing so beautiful, yet so Dark. I'm enjoying reading your poetry. Keep writing, your words are heart spoken.

Thank you lovely...I write most often when in the dark. It is weirdly inspiring but can also be cathartic to write it out.
