Ohh, thank you, Sage sister!  The paint hasn't even dried yet... I'm about to officially enter it to the competition! :D

I don't know how to post things like this when I publish a visual poem so I'm putting it here:  
 
This was done to enter in the Webmistress's current competition, "Virsual Poetry - Filthy Animals" which must be about non-human creatures, overlaid on an original background, and the poem must be no more than 50 words.

Wow, a tremendous personification of the dove...I weigh little more than air's fluttering heart...I love that line

I had a similar experience as a boy when my father took me hunting. I never went hunting again...

I also had an experience like this as a kid.  I shot a bluejay and it broke my heart.  I never went hunting again.  This is a beautiful and heartbreaking little poem, Jade.  Fine lines and layout both.
