A lover like you
Let the tip of your tongue
search my skin.
I press my hips into yours;
constantly needing more.
My only thought is
where your hands are going next.
Grab me and take control.
Push me against the wall.
Choke me until
I'm breathless with pleasure.
Make me feel the greatest pain.
I don't have patience
for a gentle touch.
Your mouth is relentless.
Your hands are urgent.
Release comes fast,
with a lover like you.
When you leave
my head is hazy.
My legs tremble;
I can't even walk.
Every nerve in my body is on fire.
It happens so quickly;
I wonder if you're even real.

This is an excellent poem. The imagery smacks one in the face more closely than being there. Very intense and real.
"Choke me until
I'm breathless with pleasure." just knocked me out. Never heard it expressed that way. I love the ending especially, often it is hard to tell if it was real even when the evidence left behind is admissible in court. Can reality ever reach the heights of the imagination?

.......at all. It feels. That's a good thing. I could feel your urgency and the way you were caught up in the whirlwind of activity and emotion. I love that feeling when you are gettin' it so good until you can't tell where reality ends and the euphoria begins. Time and space kind of disappears and you become creamy liquid flowing. That's how this feels when I read it.

it is so personal, as if you are speaking to the reader. and your words are so intrancing that it leads one into something of a false memory...like deja vu...ive never had a poem take me where this one did. well done
