shark-infested pool,
hickory clocks keeping
schedule's time aloft,
subtle as a china shop bull.

dogged cat platypus,
hippopotamus ravenous,
crystals of light in a waterfall.

a cowed swarm
and a sheepish herd
meet a boorish,
bullish
mynah bird.

panicked pandas big and small
answer to some nature's call,
graceful, beautiful bald eagle,
am i a machine or an animal?
