Dandelion Flu

I want to listen to your voice
speak me to sleep
deep lines of poetry
over binaural beats
your soft spoken soul
tastes so syrupy sweet
sleep walk seamlessly
into the backless
dress of my dreams
I see us dancing barefoot
through puddles and streams
my hearts a skipping stone
that's surely to sink
before I do
drip drops of dew
into dandelion flu seasons
to be close to you
is better than being sick
for no reason
youre leaving me breathless
like I'm blowin balloons
it's not your Birthday
but damn, id do it for you
I'm on a tilt-a-whirl
of emotional bliss
pardon my arrogance
I'm not used to feeling like this
I know love is a drug
that is often abused
and my addictions run deep
and I might get confused
so just let me know
when enough is enough
I'm not trying to lose you in lust
white lies and mistrust
you're my lucky
and I want to spark up
but have you ever watched a cherry
turn to ash
turn to dust
