Is It Over Yet?
I was looking for love
when I found it
took it for granted
got my heart broken in two
now my head’s full of sadness
still waiting for you to say you forgive me
not everything can be solved with a simple I'm sorry
let me look into your angel eyes
one last time
then you can make me your sacrifice
stab me repeatedly with staring knives
when our love was good, it was great
but when you left, it turned into pain
I know we just aren't working out
so I close my eyes, open them
is it over yet?
fine, leave me be
and I’ll cry in this home all alone
i’m still the little boy you'll never know
my heart is young but my body grows older
tears will just drop
until you pick my head up
and let me know
is it over yet?

Excellent write. I can really relate to that feeling of wanting to wake up to a better day where hope is not all lost.

Yeah, I wrote this poem some years ago. I was at a very low point In life. I felt like every time I fell asleep that I'd hope the next morning it would of just been a dream. Better days since then though. And it is over.. hehe Thanks my friend 😁
