Broken Boys
Broken boys with their sad eyes
They won't tell you they're hurting
Until it's too late to run away
They pull you closer to their chest
Impaling you on the glass like shards
Of their permanently broken hearts
They'll beg you to save them as
They fall deeper and deeper into
The darkness of their torn souls
They'll tell you they are sorry
As toxic tears fall from their eyes
They'll scream they want to change
And you'll believe them over and over
But they never do for they're broken boys
They won't tell you they're hurting
Until it's too late to run away
They pull you closer to their chest
Impaling you on the glass like shards
Of their permanently broken hearts
They'll beg you to save them as
They fall deeper and deeper into
The darkness of their torn souls
They'll tell you they are sorry
As toxic tears fall from their eyes
They'll scream they want to change
And you'll believe them over and over
But they never do for they're broken boys
