Turning the Other Cheek
while you are plotting my demise
I am living life
while you are stuck in a loveless relationship
I couldn’t be happier with mine
and while you are sitting there getting mad
I am smiling with family and friends
sure, you have your club of misfits
gang of bullies attacking me
face it, sweety
I know you’re hurt
you seeing me with that girl I like better than you
I bet you imagine me making love to her too
the way you wish I would you
but not in this lifetime, hunnie
you did all you could
to set me in a bad light
yeah, I admit
I reacted to it when I shouldn’t have
but I don’t take shit back
you are pathetic for doing what you did
I won’t let it poison me though
when someone hates you so much
It’s best to just walk away
some fights aren’t worth the pain
many like to preach about god
but do the opposite of his teachings
not me, not anymore
I will go where my true strength lies
and just turn the other cheek

Holy freaking konoly!
this sent me a little guilt trip :) the surface journey I went
on, although I don't know about putting anyone in a bad
light.
But I do know about being paranoid, though my instincts
are highly untameable and often a revelation of something.
Which does not take long to prevail, no matter how many
lies are told. Somehow they show opposite reflections.
This is glorious!

Again... my favorite line is already mentioned... it reminded me of a quote: "Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die"

I like that quote. Never heard it before though. Kind of funny in away. Some people can be pathetic and i may think it but attacking will only make me look bad. So always moving forward regardless how i may feel. Thanks my wonderful friend :-)
