Dangerous Mind

Wowzers you are on fire with this write! It is also very sad though that it's 2017 and we should be able to have our say if we can't express ourself through poetry when can we express ourselves?! There are poems I simply do not wish to see so I simply do not follow them its as simple as that :)

I will always stand up for my poetry. I don't like to be judged. If someone doesn't like what i say ether don't follow or block me. But i will always stay true to my writes. I am not after anyone. Just after my freedom. It seems whenever i speak my voice everyone is so quick to shut me down. Well no one is making people read anything. I move forward with fury

"Censorship" happens  here when what is posted, becomes personal attacks, illegal instances, plagiarism, promotion of real crime, rape, etc.....stuff like that. Let's not blur the lines between what is a huge no-no and all the freedom everyone actually has here, compared to other websites.

All the boo-hooing gets a little old after a while because something someone posted got removed and oh--rights are violated now! Guess what --we on our end also have the right to define what is acceptable for this website and as such, are obliged to take corrective action when the bounds are overstepped and violated.

Second Amendment right don't mean that it's a big free for all and anyone can say anything they want to anyone else , anytime, without reproach. Use wisdom and have a little respect for others and personal accountability, while exercising your "rights ".

I agree but i am not saying attacks. I am saying freedom of write. I am being stopped from posting even though i was attacked as well "one sided". Call it crying, call it boohooing, i call it injustice. And a down right bulling when in large numbers. Plus i am free to speak my mind as you are yours and i respect that you do and have nothing but love for you :-) Thanks for speaking your mind and taking time to read my poem

Madame said it right- with freedom comes responsibility, and yes bro it cuts both ways and takes some balls to handle.. good to vent feelings as long as it's not crossing legal boundaries which unfortunately do apply both online and offline and as owners/managers of this site people are legally obliged to adhere to laws, anarchy is not the purpose of this site I believe!

Yes, completely agree. I believe in respect as well. And laws are what keeps us. But protesting isn't crying. It's standing up when you are being silenced. I felt a need to vent but I do so respectfully. Have nothing but love for most people on here. Just felt my voice was being silenced for a reason I am still not sure of. Thanks for speaking your mind, friend 😁

Thanks! I kind of felt some people thought this was an attack on this website. It’s not. I love this place and its freedom. I just want people to be able to defend themselves when being accused of something. We lost some fabulous poets because they were accused but not really able to plead their case. I would gladly accept my punishment if only I could tell my side of the story. When I tried to tell my side in the ask me option I was banned for a week. I felt I was nice and respectful, even more so than the admin. Thanks again for reading my poem and speaking your mind

On a serious note... you know how I feel about the matter and I think you made a great poem out of it! The repetition of "don't let me speak my mind" makes it even stronger! The picture... you couldn't have picked a better one!

I don't write fluff poetry! I'm edgy ;-) I love the pic myself. Justice is blind, and deaf it would seem, lol. But, sadly i feel like this is such the final nail in my DC account. Maybe I'll start over, but feel so beat down over this. I get tired of the bulling from favored poets. I feel my poetry, me, and my followers will always be attacked as long as the favored poets know who i am. I thank you for always being a great friend! The world needs more people and poets like you :-)

My mother taught me to never make a decision when one is upset! Once you're back, just see what happens... every day new poets join this community and besides that, your work should remain visible! You wrote about fluff poetry... that made me laugh out loud, I can't imagine you will ever write a fluffy poem though I think you're kinda cute yourself ;-)
