I Am What I Am
I am a god.
neither yours, or any other's
but a god nonetheless
To myself, I owe each day
and to myself I owe gratitude
I create myself, for myself
I am vengeful yet kind
to those who in like mind see me
as a god among a pantheon
my brothers, sisters, and I
shine in illuminated darkness
balanced between known and unknown
an occult mystery
forever being unraveled
as I strive to discover myself
for I am a god
neither yours, nor any others
but a god, nonetheless
neither yours, or any other's
but a god nonetheless
To myself, I owe each day
and to myself I owe gratitude
I create myself, for myself
I am vengeful yet kind
to those who in like mind see me
as a god among a pantheon
my brothers, sisters, and I
shine in illuminated darkness
balanced between known and unknown
an occult mystery
forever being unraveled
as I strive to discover myself
for I am a god
neither yours, nor any others
but a god, nonetheless
