He only writes when he's unhappy  
I'm not sure what that means  
Only when he's low  
His words seem to flow   
 
Feeling down, he leans on others  
Hiding beneath the covers  
When he's winning  
No one hears from him  
 
Highs or lows  
Never really there for anyone  
Need to lean on him?  
and for sure he's gone  
 
Wallowing in self pitty  
He likes to do drugs  
and he's a bit of a drinker  
Maybe that's his inspo  
It brings out the thinker  
 
Anyway  
She's done trying to help him  
Until he needs her again  
and she'll go out on a limb  
Reliving the same old pain...
