VOICES FROM BELOW

And so once again
  I find myself in
Need of a friend
  I find myself needing love
Hoping for help from above
  But only hearing voices from below
Deep down inside is
  Where I put it
Where I try to hide
  This darkness that seems
To come over me when
  I hear the voices from below
So I go outside and
  Look for the sun in the sky
But only dark clouds I find
  Light seems to pass me by
All that I have are
  The voices from below
So is this my fate
  Are friendships and love
For me to late

To the voices from below

Signs from up above
  No long walks in the light
Only hardships and fright
  Given to me from
The voices below
  So as I surrender
The flickering hope I had
  And I start going mad
The only thing that I have
  Are the voices from below
