KOOL-AID FOR TWO
We drank the kool-aid
And took the pills
We crested the rise
Now were heading down the hill
Can't stop the momentum
Or change the speed
No stopping the beast
That is killing us to feed
Are you Dr. Jekyll
To my Mr. Hyde
Guess it's to late
To get off this crazy ride
Just one more
For the road
Something to ease
The burden of this load
There's no turning back
It's in our veins
No last peaceful moments
Only life filled with pain
We did it all
Kool-aid for two
But...
And took the pills
We crested the rise
Now were heading down the hill
Can't stop the momentum

THE WILD ROAD
Take me down the wild road
Towards misery or glee
The face you are looking at
Isn't the one that I see
All that I ever asked for
Was a final quiet night
To put to bed the darkness
I've been fighting all my life
So keep all your salutations
Resentments all you breed
Stop ending our conversations
By telling me what I need
If you ever get inside my head
You'll end up turning in your grave
One last glimpse of happiness
Is all that I really crave
So take me down that wild road
Where a strange new world...

THE GOD COMPLEX
Im like a rock and you broke on me
Then like a god I set you free
So don't look for a reason as to why
You get to live instead of die
I spread my arms you stop and kneel
With laying on of hands you start to heal
And upon your face the look of awe
It makes me wonder what you saw
Always asking for something forever in need
Why oh why did I ever create this breed
The man on your television dosnt speak for me
There is only one and this you will see
So do not push me to my patience limit
And don't question me or my role...
Then like a god I set you free
So don't look for a reason as to why
You get to live instead of die

WEST OF THE NILE
As the sun sets west of the Nile
The dead they begin to speak
As the dark sets in and they start to arise
Its you they are out to seek
With eyes that are ablaze
Their cold white skin can burn like a flame
With a thirst that cant be quenched
Into a night that gives no rest
The dead they walk first west of the Nile
To this truth there can be no denial
The scarab beetles lead the way
East towards the last glimmer of day
Like moths into the flame
For this burden they lay no blame
If the Egyptian god Seth has his...

A KNIGHT IN DULL ARMOR
At the round table
Where the proud once sat
There is only misery
Men,s voices that once boomed
Now sadly and forlorn sit silently
The days of Arthur are now
A long forgotten past
All the glory for naught
As well as the meaning
Of the nobleness he taught
The chain-mailed knight
Has given up his seat
And thrown away his ring
He will not pledge fealty
To this honorless King
The quest he set out on
At such a tender young age
He now has sadly found
Has lost all meaning to
Those at the oaken round ...

GREY MATTER
Grey matter turned black
Too late to turn back
The weapon is pulled
All emotion gone cold
No remorse or fear
Regretful feelings stop here
You know the killer within
Loves this life of sin
Who cares on the edge
No way down from this ledge
Steady hand holds a gun
Blackness here now I am done
Electrons cease to fire
Too many crossed wires
Brain cells under attack
Grey matter turns black
Too late to turn back

TWO SIDES TO EACH COIN
She seemed so decent and nice
Not thinking it could happen to me
I plunged in head first
When I should have waited to see
Two sides to each coin
Her words I let myself believe
Two sides to each coin
One side is there to deceive
I found myself falling in love
It dosnt happen for me this way
But this bright shinning moment
Soon became my darkest day

EAST-END HARD
When your born east-end hard
Your postal code is the death card
You think you might get away
East-end hard is with you to stay
Run, flee and try to change
You will never be out of range
Fight, fuck, kill and steal
Just a spoke on the wheel
5 years, 10 years, 15 years or such
When I get home nothings changed much
Half of my life I spent away
An old friends death brought me home today
Back-slaps, hand-pumps and hugs all around
Did we forget about the guy in the ground
Way to much time alone to think
About my life lived...
Your postal code is the death card
You think you might get away
East-end hard is with you to stay

EBB & FLOW
How do you live with yourself
Have you ever shed a tear
What do you feel inside
Do you ever hide from fear
Who do you see in the mirror
What is it that stares back
What happens if you look to hard
Does the mirror start to crack
Burning the bridges you've crossed
Travelling a lonely road
No one to hold you at night
Nothing to fight off the cold
Your life has come unwound
Spiraling out of control
So this is how it ends
An ocean with no ebb and flow
Have you ever shed a tear
What do you feel inside

BLACKENED HEART
As I walk, in the cold rain
No one there, to feel my pain
By myself, and so alone
Nothing there, just empty home
Where to go, and what to see
Who to show, what I can be
So much more, I could give
So much for, the life I live
Do I just go, and fade away
Not bothering, to face another day
What kind of road, I have taken
To find myself, so forsaken
From the depths, of a blackened heart
Near the end, far from the start
So if it ends, this sad day
Nobody to hear, what I have to say
No one there, to feel my pain
By myself, and so alone
Nothing there, just empty home
Where to go, and what to see
Who to show, what I can be
So much more, I could give
So much for, the life I live

BLOW-OUT
I walked down the street, something strange filled the air
I whirled around, to find that nothing was there
I looked into a void, panic rushed to my head
My blood pressure rose, I thought I would soon be dead
I squeezed shut my eyes, hoping to soon awake
Only to find a fork in the road, and a choice I had to make

I laughed out loud, to keep away the pain
I thought to myself, this is to surreal to insane
As hard as I tried, I could not...

MILLENNIUM SNAKE
WELL,
It seems like I have done it again
Lost another girlfriend
The millennium snakes un-smitten
A lust that didn't last
A love gone too fast
The millennium snake has bitten
I know the cause
And I know the cure
Is it a step that's worth taking
The snakes coiled tight
She is ready to strike
Its a lifestyle that I would be breaking
The wheel of life keeps rolling on
Shed your skin and move along
One more chance to claim my stake
Destiny is riding on the millennium snake
It seems like I have done it again
