"To Enter into that Blessed Death; the Death that Brings Rest"
I'm closing my eyes
now, I'm going to
sleep
I'm laying down my
worldly burdens at
his feet and resting
in sweet respite
His Holy Apostle...
John the Beloved
around 90 A.D,
(Anno Domini - Latin
for, "Year of Our Lord,"),
when he was instructed
by the Angel of YHWH
transcribed...
"WRITE, Blessed are
They who Die in the
Lord from Henceforth;
Amen says the Spirit,
that They may Rest
from Their Labors,
and Their Works
do Follow,"
I want to fall into Him;
into the Mighty Embrace
of the Spirit, where my
old life dies and I rest
in Peace, and then
have my works
follow me into
this...
Blessed Death
This death of the flesh,
so rife and repugnant
with chaos and
denigration
To die from this old life
and awaken to the New
One
Plato once said...
"Only the Dead have Seen
the End of War,"
Well that's what I'm now
living and pressing for...
To extinguish all of these
passions and desires,
lusts and feelings that
rage like fire within me,
and war against myself,
and God, and against
You
And I heard a voice from
heaven saying unto me,
Write, Blessed are the
dead which die in the Lord
from henceforth: Yea, saith
the Spirit, that they may
rest from their labours;
and their works do follow
them. - Revelation 14:13
