richard dadd, with his victorian
faery paintings, was quite a lad,
mind you, and I mean it isn't as if,
he really did kill his dad
and was locked up for the rest of his life
which was sad,
but hey, in the language of the time,
he was quite mad,
although they still let him paint,
which wasn't a crime
although ain't
it incredibly sad...

Well, isn't art its own creation once done? So many associate the painter with the painted - and, well, to a point they should; however, to me, art isn't the painter or photographer - it's the painted and photograph.
I see your thought process - why should someone who takes a life be permitted to enjoy theirs via what they love most? I guess it's a good question, but then judgement begs review.

I am not aware of this man or his paintings, I will now educate myself about him :-)
