Deep blue pools  
That's what electrifies my soul
When you look at me  
the way that you do  
You stare into my eyes  
I see reflections

hope  
passion

Those deep blue pools  
tell me tales  
tales of  
conflict  
search for meaning  
and yes, victory  
You look at me intently

Those deep coyote blue pools radiate light  
rays of
empathy
compassion  
and hey, is that affection?  
   
Those deep blue ocean pools remind me of crashing waves  
and I want to tell you that I'll be with you  
when those waves get wild  
But I remain silent  
Because I can tell from those deep blue pools  
that you have picked up the unspoken words

And I'm so glad of that  
I want to analyze those beautiful blue eyes  
for the rest of my life
